You are warmly welcome to enjoy delicious Myanmar and International Cuisines, in a quiet retreat in the more than a 100 year old colonial and historic Villa at 290, U Wisara Road, 'The House of Memories', piano bar and restaurant. It was a family home of the late Wunna Kyaw Htin Mr. Dina Nath, Chairman of the Indian Independence Army for Burma and Mrs. Caroline Nath (Daw Khin Thein Thein) now turned into a recreation center and restaurant for guests to enjoy and feel the old memories of the historical house. The house is categorized as a historical and national heritage because the owner allowed the Burmese Independence Army (BIA) to open its Head Quarters during the fight for Independence.

The late National Hero, General Aung San's first office was in the room upstairs and you can still see the furniture used during General Aung San's days. For playing the role as mediator and coordinator for the independence of Burma (Myanmar) and India, Mr. Dina Nath was jailed by the British in Red Fort for one year as a political prisoner in 1947. His testimony defending to get independence was well documented in the Red Fort Trials document. Mr. Dina Nath was awarded the Wunna Kyaw Htin national title for his role for successful negotiations between Kayin and Burmese army, known as the Insein war. He received the highest national tile for Indian Independence awarded by the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi of India.
